This makes sense…

Maria is with El Encanto in Punta Mita and makes this important observation:

One real estate market that appears to be showing strength is Mexico. It seems that foreign investments south of the border coincide with the peak tourism seasons. said that four of the top 10 international travel destinations for U.S. travelers over the Thanksgiving weekend were in Mexico. “When you see such good travel numbers, it tends to ripple through to the real estate market because once people see the beauty and value that Mexico has to offer, they often want to buy here too,” said Maria Clinton, COO of Casa Mexicana, a residential real estate company.

We are still getting the tourists (people I had dinner with last night who recently flew down said there flights were full. Another flys back and forth frequently and he said they flights have been consistently full), and on of those four destinations mentions by Orbitz was Puerto Vallarta. That’s encouraging. You need visitors to have a strong market.
